The Feminist Collective (FemCo) is a positive impact committee at EUC that strives to create a safe, empowering, and welcoming space for the EUC community and those who face oppression by the patriarchal system. Our main goal is to provide a voice and platform for people at EUC to feel seen, heard, and empowered in their identity regardless of their gender, ethnicity, race, sexuality, age, or class. FemCo recognizes the importance of intersectionality and representation in feminist activism, along with celebrating diversity in our community. Throughout the year, we organize events, such as educational workshops and Sexy Wine Talks, that highlight the diverse stories and experiences of women and create a safe space for everyone to be themselves and speak their truth through an intersectional lens of feminism. We’re always open to new perspectives and we also love collaborating with other committees to plan fun and meaningful events that leave a positive impact on our community 🩷
