About EUCSA
Purpose
EUCSA, Erasmus University College Study Association, is at the heart of student life at EUC. Through our various committees, we organize all kinds of events throughout the year - from parties, open mic nights, trips and sports games to dance workshops, theatrical performances and tedtalks - all brought to life by students, for students. EUCSA is THE opportunity for you to experience everything university life has to offer, meet students from all cohorts and make memories that will last a lifetime. We are a collection of hundreds of students, all with their own life stories, with their own interests and passions, dreams and hopes. They all make EUCSA something special - a vibrant, connected, inclusive community. And EUCSA, in turn, is what makes life at Erasmus University College truly unforgettable.
Organization
The EUCSA Board is is responsible for the smooth running of the association. It organizes some events, like the introweek and the EUCSA weekend, and supports the work of EUCSA's 30 committees, be it organizationally, logistically or financially. Committees themselves fill the year with activities and provide value to the community in a multitude of ways. They are essential in enabling members to discover, pursue, and share their passions with others. Committees typically consist of 5 to 8 members, including a chair, a treasurer and general members. EUCSA empowers students to bring their ideas to life and fosters active participation across the community, through its communities and its various other outlets.
Besides the board and the committees, the Advisory Council, which advises the board in the interest of the association, and the Intersectional Council, which provides insight into matters of diversity and inclusion, are also part of the EUCSA organization.
