Committees are the backbone of EUCSA - they shape all of the events that bring us together. But what does being in a committee actually look like?
Together, members plan, organise, and run events for the EUC community and joining one is a great way to make friends and build practical skills.
Structure of a Committee
Most committees consist of 6–8 members, though some are larger depending on their responsibilities.
There are usually two reserved general member spots for first-years per committee - so there is always room for you, you can also check which cos still have other positions open!
Chair
Leads the committee, oversees planning, delegates tasks, and keeps a positive team atmosphere.
Treasurer
Manages the budget, tracks expenses to keep events on budget. Works closely with the chair and if needed steps in as a vice-chair.
General Members
Usually 4 students (varies by committee) who contribute ideas, help organize events, and take on different responsibilities throughout the year.
