Debate Co.

Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive debating environment in EUC where students from all disciplines can develop essential public speaking, awareness, critical thinking and leadership skills. Debate Co aims to provide diverse opportunities for students to engage with these skills, such as weekly debate practice, debates within and outside of EUC, innovative training programs hosted by professionals and other thought-provoking events. We aim to equip our members with crucial critical thinking and public speaking proficiency that can transcend beyond the academic setting into more hands-on, professional and extracurricular skillsets, empowering our members to excel outside of University too. Additionally, we also simply want to have some really fun debates with both newcomers as well as seasoned participants!! Thus, Debate Co will provide all EUC students with an environment of open dialogue, awareness about globally relevant topics and intellectual curiosity that fosters both personal and professional growth.
